In the show ring

The?Windsor Championship show?is a lovely venue to visit and for us it’s classed as a local show!! This year we were to be judged by Richard Kinsey.

Ghost moved beautifully and was placed 2nd in her class and earned an lovely critique from the judge so well done Ghostie and Bryony. Sultan and Francine finished a very good 3rd in their class with Sultan’s litter brother Alvin handled by owner Wendy finishing 4th at his first Championship show. Well done everyone.

Pink (Marahootay Desert Orchid) was once again in the show ring this month this time at Echt and she didn’t disappoint taking Best of Breed at only 10 months of Age !!!

Our next foray into the show ring was at?The National Working and Pastoral Breeds show?which was held at the lovely venue in Malvern. Normally it’s a beautiful venue with nice big rings and is set in a bowl the showground being surrounded by hills.

Unfortunately the weather forecast was not good and so we were not surprised to arrive in Malvern to grey skies and rain. Alas the inside rings are not very big nor are the aisles between the rings which made moving malamutes from their benching area to the ring very very interesting and not a little stressful!!

Sultan (Marahootay Prince of Persia) finished?1st Puppy dog?and went very close to Best Puppy under breed specialist judge Mr W Howarth. Even Effie (Kasaan’s Forever Fortune) took a spin in the ring and finished a very good 5th with a very highly commended out of a tough class!
