Welcome to our Wonderful World

We are a small family kennel, whose love is Alaskan Malamutes. Our dogs are worked at rallies throughout England, where because we very rarely have snow and so cannot compete on sleds, we race on three wheeled rigs. We also compete at conformation shows both in the UK and in Europe, and have regularly competed at Crufts.

A great day at WELKS 2017

We had a fabulous day at WELKS (West of England Ladies Kennel Society) under Judge Jeff Luscott.

Flint (Marahootay Linx Under Tatkresiwok) owned and loved by Jill and John Pitcher took 1st Puppy Dog then Best Male Puppy in Breed.

Raja (Marahootay Crown Jewel AI) then took 2nd Junior.

Kismet (Marahootay Destiny’s Child AI) at her first show 6 months on the day took 2nd Puppy Bitch.

Mirage (Marahootay Optical Ilusion) not to be out done by her daughter then took 3rd Post Grad Bitch.

So Raja, Kismet and Mirage all qualified for Crufts 2018 at their first show.

Thank you to Judge Jeff Luscott for thinking so highly of our dogs.

Saying goodbye to Mushu

Saying goodbye to Mushu

Today we had to say goodbye to Mushu (Polarpaws Baby Bear At Marahootay) 2/1/2004-19/4/2017.

She was a large girl with a huge capacity for love always ready for cuddles with anyone, with a nature as gentle as she was big.

She picked me when she was a puppy and I never had a moments regret at bringing her home; she gave endless pleasure and comfort and will be sorely missed by us all. Run free sweetheart pain free until we meet again xx

Flint took third place at Crufts. Judge Barbara Stainer’s critique:

3rd. PITCHER’s MARAHOOTAY LINX UNDER TATKRESIWOK good outline & balanced throughout with masculine head developing well straight front & correct layback of shoulder with well-proportioned body, ample bone good front & rear angles moved soundly.

Also Raja (Marahootay Crown Jewel) (AI) got reserve with Francine also under Breed specialist Barbara Stainer.

Flint went on to take best puppy in breed at the open show this week and then a group 4.

Well done to all.

From Jill: I am pleased to announce that Flint (Marahootay Linx Under Tatkresiwok) won his first 1st place ribbon (thanks to a lot of help and advice from Simon from Wintablizard). Flint also won 3rd in the puppy group and it was only his second show. Very proud of my boy and it was nice… Continue Reading
