With the beginning of autumn all musher’s thoughts turn to the weather and the lack of cold training weather at that. We managed to get the puppies and Hades out on a rig three times before we entered the first rally of the season the AMWA night and day rally held at Kings Forest in Norfolk. The weather was unfortunately mild for this time of year but the venue is beautiful and the trails kind to the dogs paws.. The event was very professionally managed and run by Mark Squires ably assisted by his wife Tracey and Ian Muncaster. Our thanks to them all for taking the trouble to organize a great event and we look forward to many more – please !!!
Unfortunately this year we were unable to attend the Nationals held in Denver USA and missed catching up with friends there. However Bonnie MacMahon-Howen of Kassan Kennels did us proud with Effie’s father Granite. Am.Can Champion Terrapins Kassan N Stone ROM won the Veterans Sweepstake and then won an Award of Merit. Our congratulations to you both and Effie is very proud of her daddy.
